Bird Information Systems empowers the national carrier, Indian with web check-in facility for all sectors on its domestic network

New Delhi, February 06, 2007: Bird Information Systems Private limited (BIS), a leading technology provider of automated aviation and travel related software solutions, today announced another technology advancement for the national carrier, Indian, for the use of its web check-in application services. Indian adopts this state of the art BIS technology and brands this as “i Check-in” service.

The “i Check-in” service will allow passengers holding e-tickets to check-in from the comfort of their home or office thereby saving their time immensely while at the airport. The passenger is presented with a simple user-friendly web check-in option on the Internet booking engine of Indian (www.indianairlines.in) into which he enters basic booking details and by just clicking a few buttons he can get the boarding pass on his desktop, thereby, going directly to the security gate at the airport.
